Pastor Kanyari Children Drama: Why He Issued a Stern Custody Ultimatum

Pastor Kanyari Children Drama: Why the Controversial Preacher Gave a Stern Ultimatum

The Kenyan internet has been buzzing with a lot of talk concerning Pastor Victor Kanyari and his children, Sky and Dany. Pastor Kanyari, who runs the Salvation Healing Ministries, is a man who is well-known for attracting attention. However, this time, the drama is not about his church or his famous miracles. Instead, it is a deep family matter that has taken over social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.

Following the tragic passing of his ex-wife, the popular gospel musician Betty Bayo, a huge debate erupted online regarding who should look after their two children. Amidst all the rumors, criticism, and video clips flying around, Pastor Kanyari stepped forward to give a stern ultimatum and clear the air. He made it very clear that when it comes to his kids, he is not playing games.
Let us look at exactly what caused this family drama and why the controversial preacher had to issue a tough warning to the public and online critics.

🖤 The Root of the Family Drama
The whole issue began after the sudden and sad demise of Betty Bayo. For a long time, the two children had been living with their mother and her new husband, Hiram Gitau (also known as Tash). After her burial, many social media users started guessing and wondering who would take full custody of the minors.

Some people online argued that the children should stay with their stepfather because they were already used to that home. Others felt that since Pastor Kanyari is the biological father, the children belonged to him. The situation quickly turned into an emotional online war, with different sides throwing words at each other.

🔊 Why Kanyari Issued a Tough Ultimatum
Pastor Kanyari did not sit back and watch people talk about his blood children online. He teamed up with local content creators and went live to address the nation. He looked directly into the camera and sent a strong warning to anyone trying to block him from his children or using their names to get views online.

Here are the main reasons why the preacher gave a strict ultimatum:

1. "I am a Good Biological Father"
Pastor Kanyari stated very clearly that he has never abandoned his responsibilities. He told his critics that even though he might not have been a perfect husband to his late ex-wife, he has always been an excellent father. He noted that his children, Sky and Dany, have never lacked food, clothes, or school fees because he funds their lifestyle.

2. Legal Rights Over the Children
The preacher warned those trying to create a boundary between him and his kids to check the law. In Kenya, the law gives parental responsibility to the surviving biological parent if one passes away. Kanyari made it clear that he has a 100% right to live with his kids, and he is ready to do whatever it takes to bring them under his roof.

3. Protection from Online Exploiters
Pastor Kanyari noticed that many strangers and bloggers were using his children's family tragedy to gain followers and make money online. His ultimatum was a big warning to online bullies and gossip channels to keep his children's names out of their mouths. He stated that he would not sit down and watch people destroy the mental peace of his young kids for internet clout.

👩‍💻 Sky Kanyari’s Rising Content Career
Another reason why this drama is so big is because Pastor Kanyari's daughter, Sky, is already a famous content creator herself. The pastor recently surprised many people when he revealed that his young daughter makes up to Ksh 500,000 a month from digital content creation.

Because the children are already public figures who bring in good money through their talents, Pastor Kanyari wants to make sure they are in a safe environment where no one can take advantage of them or their earnings. He promised to give them an even better life and guide them through their content creation journey as a supportive dad.
