KINYITA FAMILY SPEAKS AFTER THEIR CHILD WEAPONIZED FOR 'POLITICAL GAINS'
Where Do We Draw the Line? The Hypocrisy of Political Mudslinging
Kinyita Family Through Parto Kinyita had This to say:
"Sadly, this is how some people choose to settle political scores by invading the privacy of an innocent child who has absolutely nothing to do with their political battles. The same social media loudmouths who constantly preach about protecting their own children's privacy suddenly find the audacity to discuss, parade, and scrutinize a child they do not even know.
If your children deserve privacy, then so do other people's children. Dragging an innocent child into political mudslinging is not activism, courage, or journalism !it is pure hypocrisy and moral bankruptcy and stupid by birth and self effort!!"
We’ve all seen how toxic political discourse can get online, but a recent viral post reminds us of a line that should absolutely never be crossed: the privacy of innocent children.
The Double Standard of Online "Activism"
The core issue here is glaring hypocrisy. The very individuals who loudly advocate for the privacy and protection of their own families are often the first to scrutinize, parade, and attack a stranger’s child online.
Let's call this what it actually is:
It is not activism: True advocacy builds up; it doesn't tear down minors.
It is not journalism: Exposing a child who has nothing to do with adult political battles isn't a scoop—it's a violation.
It is not courage: Hiding behind a screen to target a kid is the definition of cowardice.
Privacy is Universal
If we demand privacy, safety, and respect for our own families, we have a moral obligation to extend that same courtesy to others. Bringing children into the crossfire of adult political mudslinging isn't just morally bankrupt—it exposes a complete lack of basic human empathy.
Before you hit "share" or join in on the latest online dogpile, ask yourself: If this were my child, would I still think it's fair game? Let's leave the kids out of the political crossfire.
