Kipipiri, Nyandarua —  Nyandarua County Governor, Kiarie Badilisha, has Sign's to defect from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party to join the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP).


​The Governor made this groundbreaking announcement during a burial service in Nyandarua, signaling a dramatic realignment of his political future ahead of upcoming contests

​Speaking with immense passion, Governor Badilisha made it clear that his loyalty lies firmly with the electorate rather than a political outfit. In a deeply symbolic moment that resonated with the crowd, the Governor physically held his ear, stating that his ear is nearly "peeling off" (kutoka ngozi) because of how tightly and intently he has been listening to the public.
