62-Year-Old Woman Celebrates After Welcoming Twins Following Years of Waiting
A 62-year-old woman from Kikuyu Constituency in Kiambu County has celebrated the birth of twins after many years of waiting to have children.
The woman, identified as Muthoni, welcomed twins named Wangari and Ng’endo. She held a thanksgiving ceremony today at CFF Kikuyu, where she celebrated the blessing together with her family and loved ones.
Muthoni had waited for many years without having a child. After years of hope and prayer, she was finally blessed with two children at once.
Her story has touched many people, with the birth of the twins being described by her family as a testimony of answered prayer.
Muthoni's cousin, Liz Mbugua, shared the news on Facebook after joining her and her family during the thanksgiving ceremony.
“After many years of waiting, God answered with a double blessing at the age of 62,” Liz said.
She described the birth of Wangari and Ng’endo as a beautiful testimony and compared Muthoni's journey to the biblical story of Hannah, who also waited and prayed for a child.
The thanksgiving ceremony at CFF Kikuyu was a special moment for Muthoni and her family as they gave thanks for the arrival of the twins.
For Muthoni, the birth of Wangari and Ng’endo marks the end of a long wait and the beginning of a new chapter in her life as a mother.
